Cape Cod, Massachusetts 
I fell in love with the coastal vibe of Cape Cod. It has a special feeling, a mood, and I wanted to capture that on film. I spent over a week searching the Cape for that majestic shot, careful to avoid the tourist destinations. This jetty disappearing into the distance evoked a special emotion. I set up my camera looking straight down the jetty and waited hours for the right cloud formations gathering on the horizon. I took hundreds of images, and selected this one as a ray of sun shone through the clouds and cast golden shadows on the jetty and onto the grass below. The converging lineal clouds really enhanced the shot. It was worth the wait. Golden, quiet and mystical – this shot captured the Atlantic moods I was chasing.
